Honorary Clinical Psychologist Assistant Practitioner - 1 day a week
We are looking for an enthusiastic psychology graduate keen to pursue a career in clinical psychology to assist with the provision of comprehensive assessments and therapy for adoptive families. The service provides wide reaching attachment, neurodevelopment, sensory processing and psychological assessments combined with the provision of attachment therapies.
This is an honorary position for 1 day a week working alongside the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and our multi-disciplinary Therapy Team. Adoptionplus is a training provider and the successful candidate would have the opportunity to attend appropriate training free of charge. Excellent supervision arrangements are in place. There is an understanding that the successful candidate may need to work flexibly and would benefit from an excellent reference in broadening their application for clinical psychology training.
Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed to and from home.
